Experience

Dason Gwartney is Partner and Chief Operations Officer of PremierConsulting Partners and leads the Employee Benefits division.

Dason has substantial experience providing strategic employee benefit solutions, working with public entities and delivering the highest value plans within specified budget requirements. Dason’s consultative approach helps clients better the complex world of benefits and regulatory requirements. And he incorporates compliance management into his advisory practice.

As Managing Producer at Tedford Insurance, Dason was responsible for further developing the Employee Benefits Division and the Sales and Retention of corporate employee benefit plans. During his time at Tedford, Dason elevated the Employee Benefits Division by a notable 300 percent. While there, he also increased the business retention level through enriched customer service and an expanded product offering.

At Summit Financial Group, Dason directed the Voluntary Benefits Group. Later, he became the Key Client Account Executive where he managed the largest and most technical accounts. When Dason was promoted to Vice President, he continued his role with key accounts, but at the same time provided his technical expertise to further business development efforts.

Dason graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1996 with a BS in Agricultural Communications. He is currently serving on the Oklahoma Aquarium Foundation board as the President and has been an active member since 2009. Additionally, Dason volunteers his time to the International Fibrodysplasia Occificans Progressiva Association, IFOPA, which raises money for research of a very rare genetic disorder known as Stoneman’s Disease. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, fishing and is restoring a home at Grand Lake.
